Peep Show fans have said that it’s ‘a definite blow’ as a major star was missing from an announcement the cast are reuniting for a Great British Bake Off Christmas special.

Fans of the David Mitchell and Robert Webb comedy have been desperate for more adventures involving the El Dude Brothers, Mark Corrigan and Jeremy Usbourne. With David and Robert playing the two characters, the series followed the two flatmates in Croydon, London.

Also featuring iconic characters like Johnson and Super Hans, the sitcom ran from 2003 until 2015, becoming the longest-running comedy in Channel 4 history in terms of years on air. Since its final episode was released, fans have spent a decade demanding a revival series.
