The Las Cruces Sun-News partnered with The Round Up at NMSU, New Mexico Local News Fund and Southern New Mexico Journalism Collaborative to host a round table on the topic of sexual assault awareness on the campus of New Mexico State University.

The panel will feature Editor of The Round Up Elizabeth Anne Andrews, Director of La Pinon Angelica Calderon and a staff member of NMSU's Office of Institution Equity. The panel will be moderated by Diana Alba-Soular of the New Mexico Journalism Collaborative.

Panelist will discuss the $1 million settlement between NMSU and a female student who reported a rape in a campus dorm room; the creation of mandatory consent training for NMSU students; and how to best support victims of sexual assault, sexual harassment and sexual violence in the Las Cruc
