The world of music is mourning the loss of Stone Roses legend Mani, who has tragically passed away.

His death comes just days after his 63rd birthday on November 16.

The heartbreaking news was shared on social media by his family, with devastated fans paying their respects.

His nephew took to X to share: "Unfortunately with sad news my uncle Gary Mani Mounfield from the Stone Roses has sadly passed away today.

"Thinking of his twins and my uncle Greg at this sad time. He will be reunited in heaven with his lovely wife Imelda. RIP Manni."

His wife Imelda died of cancer in November 2023. They share twin sons.
