WASHINGTON — A former congressional aide could face up to 10 years in prison for allegedly staging her own violent attack.
A New Jersey woman, identified as Natalie Greene, has been charged with conspiracy and making false statements to law enforcement after allegedly orchestrating an attack in July, the Justice Department said. An investigation revealed that the former staffer paid $500 for an artist to cut into her body multiple times.
According to CNN , the 26-year-old once worked for Republican Rep. Jeff Van Drew.
