The video game retailer GameStop is offering a day for customers to “bring whatever” into the store for a trade-in and get store credit.
Known as “Trade Anything Day,” the event will take place on Dec. 6, allowing customers to trade one item that fits in a 20-by-20-by-20-inch box for store credit, the company said via Instagram.
While the options seem fairly limitless, GameStop has provided a list of products that they are excluding from the trade-in:
Hazardous waste or material, chemicals, liquids
Lithium-ion batteries or items containing lithium-ion batteries
Weapons or ammo
Dead or live animals (Taxidermy items are valid)
Alcohol, tobacco, drugs or pharmaceutical items
Computers (excluding certain MacBooks accepted by GameStop)
Computer accessories less than 100 pounds, such
