PINE BLUFF, Ark. — Pine Bluff police have now identified the off-duty officer who crashed into Sissy's Log Cabin on Wednesday night.

According to the Pine Bluff Police Department (PBPD), at about 1:02 a.m., on November 19, an alarm was logged at the Sissy's Log Cabin building on S. Camden Road.

A short time later, an off-duty officer made a call to the on-duty supervisor, where they were informed that a PBPD patrol unit had struck the building.

25-year-old officer Xavier Higgins was identified as the officer who had been driving the vehicle involved in the incident.

Officials with the PBPD were able to confirm that the officer suffered only minor injuries after having been involved in the accident.
