ZACHARY, La. (WAFB) - Five people are facing charges in connection with a drive-by shooting that officials say started with a fight involving toy guns.

The Zachary Police Department identified the suspects as Ronnika Pichon, 19; Ronald J. Pichon Jr., 18; Destiny Turner, 24; Christian Edmonds, 21; and Trever “TJ” Jackson, 19.

The incident happened on Tuesday, Nov. 4, on Woodside Drive.

According to police, five suspects hit two victims with toy guns before fleeing in a blue Nissan Sentra.

Police said one of the suspects, identified as Ronald Pichon Jr., leaned out of the back driver’s side window and fired three shots from a gun.

No one was injured in the shooting, officials confirmed.
