APACHE JUNCTION, Ariz. — The Apache Junction Police Department has released body camera footage and new details on a man accused of fatally shooting Officer Gabriel Facio .

The police department released a critical incident briefing video narrated by Commander Cindy Ewer detailing the officer-involved shooting.

The video details an officer's initial traffic stop of the man previously identified as Roger Nunez.

During the stop, the video shows Nunez pulling out his gun from the glove compartment of his white Tesla, allegedly escalating the situation, and the officer can be heard saying, "Drop the Gun."

The video shows Nunez getting out of his car, walking away with the gun in his hand. The incident turned into an armed confrontation involving multiple officers.
