No timelines on prez, guvs to give assent to bills

The Supreme Courts five-judge Constitution bench has set aside an earlier two-judge ruling that imposed timelines on the President and governors for granting assent to bills. The bench, led by the Chief Justice, said such timelines were not part of the Constitution and were never part of legislative practice.
