A Suffolk Superior Court jury today convicted Ren Rodgers, 28, of Hollis, NH guilty of second-degree murder for fatally stabbing a man in the back at the Hotel Indigo on Friend Street near North Station in February, 2021, the Suffolk County District Attorney's office reports.
Rodgers will be sentenced on Dec. 17. The verdict means a life sentence, but with the possibility of parole after a set period of years.
According to the DA's office:
On February 20, 2021, Rodgers, who then identified as male, traveled with his wife to Boston along with Christopher Kellar and Kellar's girlfriend for a birthday celebration.
