One of the questions some people had before the Raptors season began was whether or not Darko Rajakovic would be up to the challenge.
He’d done a tremendous job of changing the atmosphere around the team and his teaching skills were undeniable, but this was going to be a different season. It wasn’t going to be all fun and development and “rebuilding” because it was time to get serious and win. Could he do it?
Guess what? The coach has been exactly the same as he’s ever been — and the wins are piling up.
Not only do the Raptors win big, they win tough games decided on top-level execution down the stretch and Rajakovic keeps reaching his players at every level.
