COLORADO, USA — A mother in Colorado was just trying to get something special for her kid for Christmas. Instead, an alleged scammer ruined the fun and she’s out almost $200.
Now, she's warning others this holiday season to be extra careful when chasing down internet deals.
Deborah, who asked her last name not be shared for safety concerns, was on the hunt for one of the Starbucks holiday Bearista Cold Cups . Although they sold out immediately at Starbucks stores, some sellers turned to the third-party market, like Facebook Marketplace, to sell them for a significant profit.
