If streaming views were oil, Landman would be sitting on a huge strike right now.
The Texas-set drama from Taylor Sheridan delivered the biggest season or series premiere in Paramount+ ’s history with its season two opener. The streamer says Landman amassed 9.2 million views worldwide over its first few days, more than tripling last year’s series debut over the same time frame.
Paramount+ is using the industry standard formula of total viewing minute divided by run time for its calculations. With a 49-minute running time for the Nov. 16 premiere, 9.2 million views works out to 450.8 million minutes of total viewing worldwide. The streamer’s internal data also shows a sizable uptick in viewing for Landman’ s first season over the past few days.
