Gilmore Girls ' 2016 revival, A Year in the Life , ended on a huge cliffhanger, and series creator Amy Sherman-Palladino has weighed in on the question that has been plaguing fans for almost a decade. The final moments of A Year in the Life ended in a brief, shocking four-word exchange between Rory and Lorelai — " Mom? ", " Yeah? ", " I'm pregnant ."

With nothing more to go on, the debate over Rory's " baby daddy " rages on. Conventional wisdom is that Logan Huntzberger, Rory's engaged college sweetheart whom she was having an affair with, is the father. However, it could also be Paul, her forgettable boyfriend, or the unknown man in a Wookiee costume she had a one-night stand with. While the audience doesn't know for sure, Sherman-Palladino definitely does.
