WEST DES MOINES, Iowa —

An annual holiday tradition in West Des Moines is returning on Thursday.

Jingle in the Junction is taking over Valley Junction under the glow of more than 100,000 holiday lights.

The event features several holiday activities, including free horse-drawn trolley rides and live ice carving demonstrations.

You can also meet Santa and Mrs. Claus in Old City Hall.

Many stores in Valley Junction also extend their hours and have special offers during the event. Jingle in the Junction runs from 5 to 8 p.m. every Thursday for the next four weeks.
