Fort Collins police have arrested a former high school counselor at Poudre Community Academy on sexual assault charges.

Police say the counselor had an approximately yearlong sexual relationship with a juvenile student beginning in 2023. The victim in the case is now an adult, according to a Nov. 20 news release from Fort Collins Police Services.
