The Buffalo Bills vs. the Cincinnati Bengals was supposed to be a marquee matchup of two high-scoring NFL offenses in Week 14, so the NFL placed it at 4:25 p.m. on in the national window. With the injury to Bengals’ starting QB Joe Burrow and the subsequent terrible record for Cincinnati, the NFL as decided to move the game to 1:00 p.m. Eastern on December 7th instead, even though Burrow was practicing fully this week.
The game will remain on FOX from Highmark Stadium. At least the Bills can avoid Tom Brady calling the game, now.
Ironically, many Bills fans had lamented that the Week 11 contest against the Tampa Bay Buccaneers was the final 1 p.m. kickoff in Highmark Stadium history with the building coming down at the end of the year. That is no longer the case.
