In the evening hours of Nov. 18, Rhyne Linker, 34, was standing at the curb in front of his home on Trinity Avenue, working on a friend’s car when he was struck by a vehicle and dragged underneath as it careened into a neighboring home.
According to his mother Janice Spidel, Linker’s wife Ashley was the first family member to look out of the door and catch sight of the accident. Just over an hour later, they learned that he had died from his injuries at CaroMont Medical Center.
In the aftermath of the crash, Spidel is remembering her son and hoping that one of the people in the car that killed him will turn themselves in.
