ATLANTA, Ga. (Atlanta News First) — Atlanta United can finally put a disastrous 2025 fully behind them. Their 2026 league schedule was released Thursday.

The club will begin the season at FC Cincinnati on Feb. 21, and returning manager Tata Martino will make his long-awaited return to Mercedes-Benz Stadium on March 7 against Real Salt Lake.

The league will take a two-month break for the 2026 World Cup, with a more than three-month long gap between home matches. The Five Stripes will host the LA Galaxy on May 9 and won’t return to the Benz until Aug. 15 against the New York Red Bulls.

The Five Stripes will get a lot of home cooking to begin the season. Of the 17 away matches, only six will take place before the league breaks for the World Cup.
