HARDIN, Mont. – The Hardin Police Department has reported a rise in DUI arrests over the past 60 days, with officers making at least 23 arrests. These cases include felony charges and incidents involving children in the vehicle.

Many drivers had a blood alcohol level over 0.200, with some almost four times the legal limit. One person was even found operating a semi-tractor trailer while impaired.

"Our traffic enforcement efforts have significantly reduced crashes here in Hardin, but it only takes one person, one decision, one moment to change many lives forever," the department stated.
