A 26-year-old Vineland man was arrested and charged with sexually assaulting and video recording two children, authorities announced Thursday, Nov. 20.
Christopher Singletary communicated with the juveniles online via Snapchat, sexting them and receiving self-produced images of the juveniles, Cumberland County Prosecutor Jennifer Webb-McRae said.
The first victim was under the age of 13, Webb-McRae said. Singletary is charged with aggravated sexual assault, sexual assault, endangering the welfare of a child by engaging in sexual conduct and two counts of endangering the welfare of a child, child sexual abuse material, Webb-McRae said.
The second victim was between the age of 13-16, Webb-McRae said. Singletary is charged with criminal sexual contact, endangering the welfare of a child by engaging in sexual conduct and two counts of endangering the welfare of a child, child sexual abuse material, Webb-McRae said.
Singletary also faces charges of endangering the welfare of a child by engaging in sexual conduct and two counts of endangering the welfare of a child, child sexual abuse material for an unidentified victim under the age of 18, Webb-McRae said.
