Hixson High School's medical career program is giving future EMT's the ride of their lives.

The school's new ambulance simulator takes the program to a new level. Qualified ambulance operators and advanced EMTs are always in demand. Hamilton County emergency service techs help with training the next generation of life savers.

Capt. David Burdett, the Hamilton Co. EMS Training Supervisor said, "They're being taught to be able to use any of this equipment in emergency setting to be able to help their patients in whatever crisis or issue they're having."
