When people talk about music venues in Maine, two big names usually come up. First is the massive outdoor venue in Bangor, the Maine Savings Pavilion. The other is Portland’s Cross Insurance Arena. Both host a steady stream of concerts and a variety of other major events.

While these two facilities get most of the attention, there’s another venue in the state that certainly deserves some as well, considering its rich rock history. Actually, it’s more accurate to describe it as a campus rather than a single venue, because it includes numerous performance spaces.
