There is understandable disappointment among the passionate Iowa women’s basketball fan base after top target Addison Bjorn broke Hawkeye hearts by choosing Texas as her college destination.
The Hawkeyes were in the top two or three for Bjorn and Johnston’s Jenica Lewis, two All-Iowa Attack players in the Class of 2026 who Jan Jensen and staff have pursued for a long time, only to watch them go further away from home at the last moment.
Thus, the Hawkeyes’ Class of 2026 is one strong.
But don’t forget, that one is the one that they really, really wanted .
