HUNTINGTON, W.Va. (WSAZ) - Thanksgiving is a week away, and traffic officials are expecting a record number of travelers this year.
The Ohio Department of Transportation is raising awareness about road safety ahead of the holiday rush.
ODOT press secretary Matt Bruning said drivers are reminded to follow the speed limit, drive sober, and put away any distractions.
It is also helpful to check traffic patterns online before you head out on your trip.
