The Portland Timbers will open their 16th Major League Soccer season on Feb. 21 at Providence Park against the Columbus Crew.
MLS revealed its last season in the February-to-November model on Thursday.
The 2026 regular season starts Feb. 21 and runs through Nov. 7. There will be a nearly two-month break for the FIFA World Cup, with no matches scheduled between May 25 and July 16.
The in-season Cascadia Cup rivalry for the Timbers begins March 7 by hosting Vancouver and then traveling to face the Whitecaps at BC Place on April 4. Portland and Seattle will first square off on July 16 at Seattle’s Lumen Field before meeting Aug. 1 at Providence Park.
