The former superintendent of Fitzgerald Public Schools in Warren pleaded guilty to possessing a weapon in a weapons-free school zone, but the case will be dismissed when she successfully completes an 11-month advisement period.

Hollie Stange, 39, of Redford Township, pleaded guilty Nov. 20 to the 93-day misdemeanor and was sentenced in 37th District Court in Warren, according to online court records and attorneys.
