Friends of the Westland Public Library Winter Book Sale

Just in time for your holiday shopping, the Friends of the Westland Public Library Winter Book Sale will continue from 10 a.m.-4 p.m. Friday and Saturday and noon-3 p.m. Sunday. Bargains include all media, adult hardcover fiction and large print fiction for 25 cents, small paperback romance for 10 cents and kids’ and teen books from 10 cents to $1. On Sunday, fill a bag with books for $5. “We invite everyone to come out, find some great reads and support the library,” said Karen McNamara, a representative of the Friends of the Westland Library. “It’s the perfect opportunity to stock up on books for the winter or pick up affordable gifts for the holidays.” The location is 6123 Central City Parkway.
