ALLEN PARK — The connection between Detroit Lions quarterback Jared Goff and wide receiver Amon-Ra St. Brown has been one of the best in the NFL over the past few seasons.
When they have an off game — which has been infrequent itself — it can cause fans to panic. But there’s no doubt from the Lions’ duo that their lackluster play in Sunday’s loss to the Philadelphia Eagles was an outlier.
Goff said as much on Wednesday and his top receiver expressed his confidence in getting right back to their historic connection.
