A new Brazilian steakhouse is slated to open at 194 West St. in Milford, according to a lawyer representing the restaurant.

The town’s select board Nov. 17 approved a victualer license for 140 Bar & Grill. The restaurant will be located at suite number 12 on 194 West St., a shopping center, according to property records.

Attorney Ernest Horn of the law firm Horn & O’Loughlin spoke on the restaurant’s behalf during the Nov. 17 meeting. Sitting next to him were the restaurant’s co-owners, Carlos DePaula Gonclaves and Carlos Benjamin. Horn said the waiters will bring the food to the patrons, similar to other Brazilian steakhouses in Massachusetts.

This all you can eat experience is known as rodizio-style.

Benjamin did not immediately respond to requests for comment on Thursday.
