OBERLIN, Ohio — On Saturdays at Bailey Field, you'll find the Oberlin College football team : 38 players and 6 coaches, each member doing their part to help the team achieve their goal.
Then there's Roseanna Smith, who has multiple roles within the Yeoman program. She coaches special teams and running backs, helps in the weight room, and has the official title of chief of staff.
She's intense at times, which is good, but honestly just, like, really caring," senior linebacker Hunter Green says.
"Most of our conversation doesn't even revolve around football — it's about our personal lives," fellow senior NuNu Samuels adda. "She's been like a second mom to me."
