A man was arrested after shots struck a driver's windshield along a highway in Clemson, South Carolina. An AR-style pistol converted into a machine gun was recovered from the suspect's vehicle, according to police.

Around 11:46 a.m. Wednesday, the Clemson Police Department received multiple 911 calls about a shooting near the intersection of U.S. Hwy 76 and Old Stone Church Road.
