AVERILL PARK — Harbinger Theatre is winding up its 2025 season with Rebecca Gilman’s thought-provoking, intriguing dramedy “Swing State.”

Through a story set on the prairies of rural Wisconsin, Gilman explores the fragility of the ecosystem in which we live. We are presented with a world in trouble on many levels. She examines the relationships of man to nature, neighbor to neighbor, and the community’s residents to the authorities with whom they must interact.
