Washington [US], November 20 (ANI): The National Aeronautics and Space Administration (NASA) has dismissed widespread rumours claiming that interstellar object 3I/ATLAS's behaviour, including that it could be an alien spacecraft, confirming that the object is a natural comet from beyond our solar system.
In a blog post on Wednesday, the space agency stated that the comet, the third interstellar object ever detected, will fly closest to Earth on December 19 at a distance of about 170 million miles, nearly twice the distance from Earth to the Sun.
The agency is currently closely monitoring the interstellar comet as it passes by Earth.
