One of President Donald Trump ‘s biggest critics in Congress is expected to announce Thursday night that he is jumping into the crowded California governor’s race .

Rep. Eric Swalwell (D-CA) is scheduled to appear on ABC’s Jimmy Kimmel Live! , where there is heavy speculation he will say he’s leaving the House of Representatives to run for Gov. Gavin Newsom ‘s (D-CA) Sacramento office.
