HOLA Lakeway brought the community together for a meal and to hear the Spanish language voice of the Vols, Carlos Lopez, speak about his experiences as the Spanish language Voice of the Vols.

Hamblen County hosts scores of immigrants from all over the world, and the various ways HOLA weaves together so many different cultures was on full display at the Lunada banquet; guest were served an Indonesian dinner from a local woman, listened to traditional, indigenous flute music, bid on art created by students from different countries, broke bread with people from even more countries and listened to Lopez, a Carson-Newman alumnus who has Venezuelan roots.
