India batter and World Cup winner, Smriti Mandhana chose a fun and refreshing way to share a special moment from her personal life, confirming her engagement to music composer Palash Muchhal through a playful Instagram reel. Surrounded by her teammates and set to a classic Bollywood track, the India batter turned a simple dance video into a memorable announcement.

Joined by Jemimah Rodrigues, Shreyanka Patil Radha Yadav, and even Arundhati Reddy, Mandhana featured in a neatly choreographed routine to “Samjho Ho Hi Gaya” from the 2006 film Lage Raho Munna Bhai. The video has since gone viral on social media. However, in the closing frames, Mandhana subtly lifted her hand towards the camera, flashing her engagement ring and confirming the long-rumoured news.
