Emmerdale’s Lewis Barton ( Bradley Riches ) is a happy young man. He’s kind, always serves customers in the café with a smile, and enjoys the fact he can slot into conversations quite easily and connect with residents.

This week, however, we began to learn more about him and how his sunny outlook on life can sometimes be displayed to cover something else up.

A few days ago, Kammy Hadiq ( Shebz Miah ) took it upon himself to organise a housewarming party at Dale View, where Vinny Dingle (Bradley Johnson) now lives with Lewis and Ross Barton ( Michael Parr ).

Vinny was keen, and so were the many other characters who got word a party was being planned. When Lewis discovered what was going on though, his eagerness was to cover up his anxiety.
