ATTLEBORO, Mass. —
A cybersecurity incident in Attleboro, Massachusetts, knocked several of the city's IT systems offline.
According to Mayor Cathleen DeSimone, city leaders are working with cybersecurity specialists, the city's insurer, along with state and federal partners to identify the cause and begin restoring services.
Public safety services remain fully operational and residents can still call 911 for emergencies.
For non-emergencies, the Attleboro police business line can be reached at 508-223-2950, and the Attleboro Fire Department business line can be reached at 508-399-8693.
Besides those two phone numbers, officials say all other phone lines to the city and police department are currently offline.
