BATON ROUGE, La. (WAFB) - One person has been transported to the hospital after being shot near the CVS on the corner of Plank Road and Choctaw Drive, according to the Baton Rouge Emergency Medical Services.

Officials with the Baton Rouge Police Department confirmed the shooting happened on Thursday, Nov. 20, around 5 p.m.

Emergency responders confirmed the injuries were non-life-threatening.

No other details are available at this time.
