Police have issued an appeal after a woman was 'pushed into the road' by an unknown man during an attack in Manchester city centre earlier this week.
An investigation has now been launched following the incident. Officers were called to reports of the assault at around 10am on November 18.
Greater Manchester Police said the woman had been pushed into the road on Oldham Street near the Northern Quarter , by an unknown man who was walking past. It is not clear if she was left injured in the attack.
An investigation is now underway. Anyone who witnessed the incident or with any information is being urged to contact officers.
