In the second such incident in three days, several private schools in the Capital received bomb threat emails on Thursday morning, prompting extensive security checks, the Delhi Police said. The threat emails later turned out to be a hoax, officers said.
According to police, The British School and Sanskriti School in Chanakyapuri, along with Modern School on Barakhamba Road and The Doon School, received the bomb threat messages in their inboxes. Police said that multiple bomb disposal squads, fire tenders and sniffer dogs were dispatched to the schools, while all staff and students were moved to open areas.
