AAP national convenor and former Chief Minister Arvind Kejriwal has yet again skipped the sitting of the Delhi Legislative Assembly’s Privileges Committee, called to investigate the authenticity of Phansi Ghar—a structure on the Assembly premises—inaugurated in 2023 by his government.
Apart from Kejriwal, party leaders Manish Sisodia , former speaker and deputy speaker Ram Niwas Goel and Rakhi Birla were also summoned by the committee to probe the matter.
Pradyumn Singh Rajput, chairman of the committee said the panel has now decided to determine the further course of action.
He noted that the AAP leaders did not appear before the committee despite being given two chances to present their side.
In his response to the summons, Kejriwal challenged the notices issued to him, dubbing it
