AUSTINTOWN - Greenwood Chevrolet in Austintown has wrapped up its "Extra Mile Food Drive" as of Thursday, November 20.
Since October, the dealership has competed with employees and customers to feed and help those in need this holiday season.
Three trucks were filled to the brim with non-perishable food items for the Second Harvest Food Bank to donate to local families just in time for the Thanksgiving holiday.
"Everybody here at the dealership, they go all out when we do this every year. ... Everybody gets involved, we've even got customers coming in, we have employees who don't work here anymore bringing food. ... It's actually very rewarding, and it's a lot of fun," said Greenwood Chevrolet Sales Manager Maurenn McCowin.
Last year, the dealership helped serve more than 128,000
