Seattle adjusted street parking rates across several neighborhoods.
The Seattle Department of Transportation (SDOT) said the changes are part of its regular seasonal review, aimed at keeping one or two spaces open per block.
Most rates remained the same, but some rose or fell by about 50 cents an hour. The new prices officially took effect on Nov. 10. In general, paid parking is in effect Monday through Saturday, limited to time increments of two, four, or 10 hours (all-day). Parking is free on Sundays.
Revenue goes into the city’s general fund to support transportation projects.
