YUCAIPA, Calif. (KABC-TV) (KABC) -- A disturbing delivery has residents in one Yucaipa neighborhood on edge, and police are working to find out who sent the missives.

On Monday, security footage from one home captured a masked man placing a letter near the front door before blowing a kiss toward the camera and walking away. Several homes in the area received similar late-night deliveries.

Residents said the letters were Christmas cards but contained messages they described as vulgar, menacing and, at times, threatening.

"They were in Christmas cards, but all of the stuff that they were putting in it were stuff you have been hearing for Antifa," said resident Scott Ungar.
