TITUSVILLE, Fla. – Hundreds of people filled the Grove Church on Thursday evening to honor the life of 18-year-old Brevard County resident Anna Kepner , whose death aboard a cruise ship earlier this month remains under federal investigation.

Friends, family members and former classmates gathered for more than an hour inside the church, where speakers focused on the laughter, energy and kindness Kepner was known for.

Former classmates described the atmosphere as emotional but supportive.

“It was very loving, very encouraging. Just to see everybody there supporting each other,” one former classmate said. “You can definitely tell she left her mark.”
