Colleen Hoover finally breaks her silence regarding Justin Baldoni and Blake Lively's ongoing legal battle. The author behind It Ends With Us revealed that she felt very " disappointed."

In an interview with Elle , Hoover explained how she felt like Lively and Baldoni's feud had obliterated the purpose of her book and the film adaptation she co-produced. She said that it was especially disheartening considering the fact that this book was based on her own mother's experiences with domestic violence and that the two lead actors in the film essentially turned something that was meant to spread awareness about abuse into a "circus."
