BATTLE CREEK, Mich. (WILX) - Fowler volleyball took down Crystal Falls Forest Park in the state semifinals in five sets on Thursday afternoon at the Kellogg Arena.
The Eagles handed the Trojans their first set loss when Fowler took the first set of the match 26-24.
Fowler followed that up with a 30-28 victory in the second set to take a 2-0 lead in the match.
Crystal Falls Forest Park fought back with a 25-20 victory over Fowler in the third set to cut it to an Eagles’ 2-1 lead.
The Trojans then proceeded to force a fifth set with a 25-19 victory in the fourth set.
Fowler took home the match victory with a 15-8 win in set five.
Fowler will play in the Division 4 state finals against Mendon at 10 a.m. on Saturday at the Kellogg Arena in Battle Creek.
