Gary 'Mani' Mounfield was "in great space" and "ready to get back" to performing just weeks before his death.

In one of his last interviews , that took place just last month, Mani said that he was "itching to get back" into playing music after visiting his storage unit, where he stored his bass guitars. The move prompted him to take up music once again shortly before his death on 20 November age 63 .
